2 Arrested In Connection To Bicycle Thefts

The men were arrested early Wednesday morning in Westwood.

Police arrested two men on suspicion of residential burglary Wednesday morning in Westwood after two bicycles were discovered in their cars.

Marvin Herrera, 36, and Julian Herrera, 23, were arrested at 4:30 a.m. The men are suspected of entering an unlocked garage in the 100 block of S. Bentley Avenue and removing two bicycles. They have also been linked to other burglaries on the Westside, according to an LAPD release. The bicycles were returned, and police found two more bicycles that had been reported stolen at the mens' homes.

The men are being held at the Van Nuys jail on $500,000 bail each. Anyone who recognizes the bicycle in the photos is asked to call Detective Greg Davis at 310-444-1568.
