Three Things You May Not Know About Vanpools

Vanpooling is convenient, cheap and makes your commute more simple.

If you are one of the surprising many that have a long and dreary commute, it may be time to think about vanpooling. It’s an easy way to endure the summer of 405 closures and can make your commute not only stress-free, but pleasant.

Here are three things you may not know about vanpooling:

  1. Over 40,000 people commute into and out of Century City everyday and come from all over Los Angeles, including the Valley, Long Beach and Inland Empire.
  2. Simply by sharing gas costs and dropping insurance down, commuters can save hundreds of dollars by taking a vanpool.
  3. Metro and Commute 90067 will cover up to $800/month for leasing a van and the lease includes all maintenance, repairs and a replacement if the van breaks down

Vanpools alleviate the stress from your commute, and, like public transportation, take traffic off the road while helping the environment. Meeting new people, networking, and reading the newspaper on the way into work are just a few more vanpooling perks on the way to easing traffic congestion during a very difficult summer.
