Beating This Summer's Commute

We know this is going to be a tough summer for commuters. Wilshire’s ramps to the 405 will be closing, Carmageddon II is on its way and the Sepulveda pass is going to be in a constant state of disruption. That’s why there has never been a better time to take a serious look at simplifying your commute. Carpooling, vanpooling, public transportation—these are all ways we can take cars of the road and ease the pain of the next 6-9 months.

To help out, we’ve pledged to remove thousands of cars from the Century City area by the end of the year and we need your help. We need commuters to log their trips at Commute90067.org and demonstrate that they are using alternative forms of transportation. Do you take the bus? Bike to work? Carpool? Please tell us! Whenever you log a trip you are awarded points and we need to raise over 200,000 points by Bike to Work Day, May 18th, to reach our goal.

Last week, three people tied for achieving 100 points in the week, the highest of the entire community. So we are awarding Pamela R., Neil B. and Annie L., Century City commuters just like you, each a $100 gift card to a Century City restaurant of their choice. Log your trips and you could be next week’s winner!

On Bike to Work Day, May 18th, we will be giving away an electric bicycle, but you can’t be eligible to win it if you don’t log your trips!

So, what are you waiting for? Join the Commute 90067 movement now!
