How to Recycle Your Christmas Tree

Still haven't taken down your Christmas tree? Here's how to recycle it when you do.

Those of you still clinging to the Christmas season probably have yet to take down the tree. When you finally decide to let go, here's how to recycle your evergreen.

The City of Los Angeles Bureau of Sanitation offers curbside collection for Christmas trees. If you're using a green waste bin to recycle, remove all ornaments, decorations and stands from the tree. Trees can be cut and placed in the bins. Larger trees can be placed next to the bins on collection day.
