The Westwood home of the late journalist/pundit Andrew Breitbart is on the market. The five bedroom, four bathroom house is listed at $1,995,000.
Breitbart died in March after collapsing while on a walk. He was 43. He owned Breitbart.com, a news aggregation site, as well as a number of other websites. He served as an editor for the Drudge Report and was instrumental in helping start The Huffington Post.
The 3,886-square-foot home, built in 1950, is in the Warner Elementary School area and, according to the MLS description as it appears on the AOL Real Estate website, has an open floor plan, cutting-edge kitchen, hardwood floors, fire place and a large, private master suite with separate his and her studies.
Outdoors, the AOL site says, there are two expansive decks, a hot tub and winding trails to a kids' trampoline, rope climb and playhouse.
The house is near the north end of the Los Angeles National Cemetary between Veteran Avenue and Sepulveda Boulevard.
Open houses are scheduled for 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday.
