Meal Prep for Hollywood / Beverly Hills Area @ Project Angel Food

Project Angel Food provides free and nutritious meals to men, women and children affected by HIV/AIDS, cancer, and other life-threatening illnesses.   Twice monthly, L.A. Works volunteers cook and prepare nutritious meals that will later be delivered to clients throughout L.A. County.

Special Note: Project Angel Food policy prohibits the following: shorts, mini skirts, midriffs, tank tops, sleveless tops, tight or see-through clothing, sandals, open-toed shoes and dangling earrings. Project Angel Food will provide hairnets, aprons and gloves to all volunteers. Volunteers must be in good health as clients have low immune systems. If you are feeling sick, please cancel and signup to volunteer another day. Age Requirement: Volunteers for this project must be at least 14 years of age. Minors: Any volunteer under the age of 18 will need to bring and have signed by a parent/guardian a Volunteer Agreement & Release for Minors. Accessibility: L.A. Works firmly believes that we strengthen the social fabric of our community by involving all in service. If you feel you need accommodations to participate in this project please email us at info@laworks.com.

* This project is managed by L.A. Works for our nonprofit partner and is led by a trained volunteer Project Leader.
