Coptic Clinics Free Community Health Fair in South Robertson
Free health services and activities for you and your family!

St. Mark Coptic Orthodox Christian Church is combining with Coptic Clinics and UCLA's pre-health student organization, SCOPE, to welcome you and your family to a Free Community Health Fair.  The Health Fair will take place in the Robertson Recreation Center gymnasium (1641 Preuss Road, Los Angeles, CA 90034) near the Pico-Robertson street junction in the heart of the South Robertson community.

Open to everyone, the Health Fair will feature a multitude of FREE health services, including health screenings by primary care doctors, vital sign readings, basic lab tests, consultations with specialists, and eye exams.  The UCLA Breathmobile will offer free asthma screenings for children.

The Health Fair also hosts a variety of vendor booths to showcase local groups that offer low-cost health and social services.  The LA County Department of Social Services will offer information on registration for Medi-Cal, CalFresh, child and family services, and more.  Vendors, such as Venice Family Clinic, UCLA Health Systems, American Red Cross, Planned Parenthood, and OPICA, will provide vital information on a range of issues, like health insurance, women's and infant's health, and public safety, that can improve your health and answer any questions you may have.  Booths run by UCLA students additionally will offer free social casework to connect you to other helpful resources in the community.

Finally, the Health Fair is a fun event for the entire family!  Special activities, such as math bingo, book readings, demonstrations on cooking healthy snacks, puppet shows, and an appearance by the LA Fire Department will be available for children of all ages.  If hungry, some of LA's hottest gourmet food trucks will be on site and open for business.  A live DJ will provide an ambiance of today's top hits to top it all off.

A non-profit event, made possible entirely by volunteers, Coptic Clinics Free Community Health Fair celebrates how the health and wellness of the LA community is truly a team effort.  With access to healthcare being a significant issue in today's landscape, the Coptic Clinics Health Fair hopes to foster collaboration in alleviating healthcare disparities and promote equality in the well-being of the South Robertson community for years to come.

We would like to invite the entire Southern California community to join our event.  Admission to Coptic Clinics Community Health Fair is free.

Esperamos celebrar la salud y el bienestar en la comunidad con una variedad de expositores y actividades gratuitos relacionados con el bienestar, incluyendo los chequeos médicos, exámenes oculares, signos vitales, análisis de laboratorio, doctores especialistas, furgonetas odontológicos y de optometría,  casetas de información, y más eventos especiales como juegos, artes, y lecturas de libros para los niños. Además, va a estar mesas para vendedores y organizaciones comunitarias para proveer información sobre recursos de bajo costo que pueden mejorar la salud de la gente.
