This weekend, commencement events at UCLA will coincide with nearby road closures. As stated on the university's website:
The following impacts are planned for the night of Saturday, June 16, and morning of Sunday, June 17:
- Wilshire Boulevard will be closed between Sepulveda and Veteran from 10 p.m., June 16 until 9 a.m., June 17 (lane reductions will begin as early as 9 p.m. on Saturday)
- All Wilshire/I-405 northbound on- and off-ramps will be closed overnight from 11 p.m., June 16 until 9 a.m., June 17
Road Closures to Impact UCLA Commencement Traffic
Westwood residents should expect heavy traffic and detours from Friday evening through Sunday afternoon.
