Seniors relate WWII memories

Replica of "Times Square Kiss" brought to Westwood retirement community

On Monday, members of the retirement community at Vintage Westwood Horizons gathered to view a statue memorializing the Times Square Kiss, captured in a photograph on VJ Day in August 1945.  The replica will be making stops around the country as part of a remembrance campaign called "Keep the Spirit of '45 Alive."  Residents recalled their wartime memories.
