Record Temps Set at UCLA Friday
Record temperatures were seen throughout the Southland on Friday.
A record high temperature of 97 degrees was set on 's campus Friday.
The sweltering temps broke the old record of 92 degrees, which was set 75 years ago, in 1937.
Downtown Los Angeles saw a record high of 100 degrees. And temperatures reaching 104 degrees at Long Beach Airport broke a record of 96 degrees set in 1979.
