Vote now for your favorite sushi joint in Westwood and Century City.

Every now and then, I get to a point where I'm flat-out craving the delicate combination of raw fish, white rice and seaweed: sushi. I'm sure many of you can relate.

So where do you go to find the best nigiri, handrolls, sashimi and rolls in Westwood and Century City?

Nominate your favorite sushi place in the comments below, and vote in our poll, and tell us why it serves up the best sushi in town!

We'll close voting Sunday night and announce the winner Monday morning (along with next week's Readers' Choice contest). The winner will get a Patch certificate to display on the restaurant's wall.

Because this poll is not scientific, it is not the sole consideration in choosing a winner. The winner will be determined by the Patch editor, based on poll results and reviews on Patch Places. Please vote only once per survey, per Patch.

With the help of our followers on Twitter and Facebook, here's our short list so far: , Sushi Masu, , , and Wakasan. We have others in the poll too, so check it out below.

Did we miss anyone? Let us know in the comments and they'll be added to the poll.

And if you own any of the eateries mentioned, you can  for free to help promote your business and keep customers informed.

Since when does RockSugar make sushi? Yes, they have a variation on hamachi, but you can't qualify them as a sushi restaurant. Asuka is decent, SanSai should never have made this list. Everyone knows, there is no good sushi in Westwood-Century City (there is a place next to CAA that's not terrible). The closest place to find good sushi is on Sawtelle. And that photo in the article is Trader Joe's sushi, which is, well, no words can communicate the sorrow of that.

Hi Mary, I hear you -- I was surprised when a Twitter follower said RockSugar should be on the list. I'll keep it there for now...we'll see how many votes it gets. We're lucky to live close to Sawtelle for sure. What's the name of the place next to CAA?

Rock Sugar does not belong on any list of "Sushi" restaurants.
