A few months after in the Westwood Village shopping center on Le Conte, it looks like the center will have another vacancy soon. The will close next month, according to an announcement from the big box electronics retailer.
The Westwood Best Buy is one of 42 locations closing nationwide. The company said most of those stores will close by May 12.
"This was not an easy decision to make," Best Buy's statement reads. "We chose these stores carefully, and are working to ensure the impact to our employees will be as minimal as possible, while serving all customers in a convenient and satisfying way. But we also recognize the impact this news has on the people who deserve respect for the contributions they have made to our business."
The Best Buy on Pico and Sawtelle is not among the upcoming store closures.
