Veggie Grill Gets OK to Serve Beer, Wine in Westwood

The restaurant gets the city's OK days after it receives unanimous approval from the Westwood Neighborhood Council.

Veggie Grill will likely add beer and wine to its beverage menu after the city last week approved a conditional use permit to allow the sale of alcohol at the Westwood Village restaurant.

The approval came just days after Westwood Neighborhood Council members voted unanimously in favor of the permit on Feb. 13.

Council members supported Veggie Grill's application to sell beer and wine, but with some conditions. Members asked that the restaurant only offer single servings of alcohol, instead of pitchers of beer, for example.
