Target Opens Wednesday, Grand Opening July 29

Westwood's new CityTarget has a soft opening July 25.

The public will be able to shop Westwood's new CityTarget a few days before the store's grand opening.

On Wednesday at 7 a.m., the smaller-format store will open for business, said Mya Walters, senior communications manager for Target. A grand opening celebration is planned for the following Sunday.

Store hours are Mon.-Fri. 7 a.m.-10 p.m., Sat. 8 a.m.-10 p.m., and Sun. 8 a.m.-9 p.m.

what about parking? the only entrance we have seen is on the street across from rite aide.

Hi San -- good question. There's parking available in the shopping center garage next to the Target entrance on Weyburn. I'm pretty sure it's underground parking, but I've actually never parked there myself. You can also park above Target in the lot where Ralphs is (where Best Buy used to be) and that entrance is on Le Conte. Or, you can park in the Trader Joe's lot if you're shopping there too. Hope this helps!

Thanks Sara! It looked like there was no door where the other used to be for Best Buy. I guess we will find out come Wednesday!
