Sprouts Farmers Market Opens in Westwood [Photos]

Sprouts Farmers Market opened its doors Wednesday in Westwood.
The 22,558-square-foot store is located at 1751 Westwood Blvd.
"We’re pleased to be moving into such a vibrant community such as Westwood," said Sprouts President and CEO Doug Sanders in a statement.

Sprouts sells fresh fruits and vegetables, meats and seafood, gourmet food items, and vitamins, as well as organic groceries. The store is "a hybrid between a natural foods store, a farmers market and a conventional supermarket," according to its website. The Westwood location will also sell beer and wine.
Grand opening specials were planned for customers, including coupon and reusable bag giveaways.
