Sprouts & Shutters: Yogurtland, Vegan Pudding, Illume Spa

Sprouts:

Yogurtland opened recently in downtown Santa Monica. The franchise's second Santa Monica location is just off the Third Street Promenade. Yogurtland's long and varied menu of frozen yogurts include pumpkin pie, chocolate coconut truffle and green apple tart.

Studio K Training has plans to open this month in Pacific Palisades. Studio K Palisades is perched just above street level within the modern architecture of the newly-designed Rockwell Residences, at 17351 Sunset Blvd. Studio K will boast the most technologically-advanced equipment and programing available to its limited membership.

Fruigees began offering a pudding snack made with organic fruits and veggies that's free of gluten, dairy, nuts and soy with no sugar added Sunday at the Brentwood Farmers Market. Unlike most puddings or fruit snacks, Fruigees are made out of organic fruits and vegetables. Currently, their flavors include Grape-Kale, Cherry-Beet and Orange-Carrot.

Illume Spa opened this month at 11677 San Vicente Blvd., Suite 300, in the heart of Brentwood. Illume Spa's facials use the latest technologies like ultrasound exfoliation, Hydrafacial, Oxygen, wet/dry diamond microdermabrasion, LED therapy and the newest, most exclusive tightening and firming treatment.

Shutters:

Thierry Perez's L'Epicerie in Culver City appears to have closed, according to Eater L.A. The French cafe came to Culver City more than two years ago.
