Lenny's Deli Sets Opening Date in Westwood

The restaurant offers a steep discount for customers who visit on opening day.

Lenny's Deli will officially open its doors Feb. 7 in Westwood.

The restaurant replaces famed Junior's Deli, which closed in December after a rent dispute. The popular deli, in business for more than 50 years, had been located in Westwood since 1967.

Lenny's owner, Lenny Rosenberg, opened a location in Pacific Palisades in 2011, but sold the restaurant in 2012.

Customers who visit the Westwood location on opening day will receive half off their orders, Rosenberg said.

The new restaurant will be located at 2379 Westwood Blvd. Hours are 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily.
