Los Angeles County officials shut down Noodle Planet in Westwood Village.

Inspectors visited the restaurant, at 1120 Westwood Blvd., last week and discovered that the food contact surfaces were not clean and that there was some sort of infestation, according to an online report.

The report did not indicate whether the infestation was caused by rodents, insects, birds or animals.

In addition, several minor violations were uncovered, such as employees using improper cooking methods and either not washing their hands well  or not wearing gloves.

The restaurant has not been allowed to reopen yet.
