Fox Renews 'Fringe' for Fourth Season

The drama is the top rated series on Friday nights.

Century City-based Fox Broadcasting announced Friday it has renewed its drama Fringe for a fourth season, with Fox Entertainment President Kevin Reilly crediting its fans.

"The series' ingenious producers, amazingly talented cast and crew, as well as some of the most passionate and loyal fans made this fourth-season pickup possible,'' Reilly said. "When we moved the show to Fridays, we asked the fans to follow and they did.''

Since its move to the Friday 9-10 p.m. time slot in January, Fringe has been the night's most-watched show among viewers ages 18-49.
