Dunkin' Donuts will open 45 stores in Southern California, including 10 throughout the Westside, Santa Monica, Hollywood and Malibu in Los Angeles County, in 2015, according to a news release from the company.

The quick-serve doughnut-and-coffee company has signed agreements with four franchise groups to open the 45 new restaurants, Dunkin Donuts announced Thursday.

Ten restaurants will be developed by Gary Haar, an existing Dunkin’ Donuts and Baskin-Robbins franchisee with six locations in New Jersey, and his partner, Steve Silverstein, in the Westside, including Santa Monica, Hollywood and Malibu.

There are 18 additional restaurants planned central Orange County and the South Bay to be owned by Frontier Group; 16 restaurants will be built in central Los Angeles and the San Gabriel Valley; and an additional eatery will open in Barstow.

The only Dunkin Donuts restaurant in Southern California is located on the Camp Pendleton Marine Base.

“Our continued focus on franchisee profitability and restaurant economics has made our long-awaited expansion into California possible, and we continue to believe that Dunkin’ Donuts has tremendous domestic growth opportunities both east and west of the Mississippi," said Paul Twohig, president of Dunkin’ Donuts U.S. & Canada.
