Send Patch Your Photos: 1,000 Union Janitors March Through Westwood

The protest was organized in part by Occupy UCLA.

More than 1,000 union janitors marched from the UCLA campus through Westwood Village Wednesday afternoon to protest income inequality.

“We’re marching around Wilshire to show the banks that the 99 percent will not be held back by their greed or their avarice,” Martin Terrones, a communications representative for the union, told The Daily Bruin.
