Motorcycle Accident Causes 405 Delays

The rider is transferred to an area hospital.

Lanes are reduced on the northbound 405 Freeway in Sepulveda Pass Friday afternoon after a motorcyclist, who may have been riding recklessly, collided with another vehicle, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The rider suffered a leg injury and was transported to an area hospital, the CHP said.

Expect traffic delays as lanes 3, 4 and 5 are blocked.

The Los Angeles Fire Department reported the accident at 12:39 p.m. on the 405 Freeway northbound at the Getty Center Drive ramps.

The motorcyclist was allegedly riding in and out of traffic and potentially riding recklessly, according to the CHP's traffic incident information page
