Week Ahead: Five Events from Our Calendar

Monday 

Cynthia Burlingham, director of the Grunwald Center for the Graphic Arts at the Hammer Museum and organizer of will lead a walkthrough of the exhibition at 3 p.m..Parking is available under the museum for $3 for 3 hours. The exhibition will be on display through April 4.

Tuesday

Join Beth Leedham, PhD, clinical psychologist and certified sex therapist specializing in sexuality after cancer, who discusses how cancer survivors and their partners can reestablish intimacy and develop a revitalized sexual connection.  begins at 7 p.m. at UCLA Ronald Reagan Medical Center.

Wednesday

The Westwood Neighborhood Council holds its monthly meeting at 7 p.m. at . It should be a lively meeting given that this week the Los Angeles City Council is expected to make a decision on the city's controversial plan to lease nine parking garages including Westwood's facility.

Thursday

The Annenberg Space for Photography in Century City hosts Clyde Butcher, one of the photographers featured in its current "Extreme Exposures" exhibit. Butcher will be speaking on "The Everglades in Black-and-White" as part of the Annenberg's lecture series. The lecture begins at 6:30 p.m.

Friday

Last chance to see two exhibits at the "Street Art: Photographic Elevations of Los Angeles, Paris, and Berlin by Larry Yust" closes Jan. 16. "Fowler in Focus: Monochrome Ceramics from Ancient Mexico" will be at the campus museum until Jan. 23. Admission is free.
