Royce Hall Organ and Film featuring Steven Ball: Tillie’s Punctured Romance (1914)

Acclaimed organist  Steven Ball — widely known for his aptitude in silent-film composition — sets a live score to Tillie’s Punctured Romance, which film historians believe may be the first full-length comedy ever, performing on the historic Skinner Organ in Royce Hall. The film is a rarely seen treasure that was preserved in 2004 by UCLA Film and Television Archive.
