Sprouts Market on Westwood Homeowners Association Agenda

Here's a look at what's on the agenda for the Westwood Homeowners Association meeting Tuesday.

Members of the Westwood Homeowners Association on Tuesday night will discuss Sprouts Farmers Market, which would be located at the former Ross Dress for Less location at 1751 Westwood Blvd.

The use of an alley for loading and unloading grocery items became a major hurdle in Sprouts' negotiations to open a Westwood store.

The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at St. Paul the Apostle Church, 10750 Ohio Ave.

Sprouts is a great place to shop. It's a cheaper alternative to Whole Foods, yet still gives the same quality. The closest Sprouts is 10 miles away, and we need one locally!

The closest Sprouts is in Culver City in the former Circuit City. That isn't 10 miles away. This property has been numerous supermarkets (last being Lucky) and should be allowed to return to its roots.

Isn't there a large outdoor parking lot where a portion next to the building can be designated for loading? there is even plenty of parking beneath the market, so there should not be a problem.
