Ready for More 405 Nighttime Closures?

Ramp closures will begin at 7 p.m. each night, with some lanes being blocked beginning at 10 p.m.

A stretch of the northbound San Diego (405) Freeway will be closed overnight tonight and Wednesday night as the $1 billion freeway expansion project through the Sepulveda Pass continues.

The northbound freeway will be closed both nights between National and Santa Monica boulevards, according to Metro, which is overseeing the freeway construction project through the Sepulveda Pass.

Ramp closures will begin at 7 p.m. each night, with some lanes being blocked beginning at 10 p.m.

The full northbound freeway stretch will be closed from midnight to about 5 a.m. each night, according to Metro. The ramps from the westbound and eastbound Santa Monica (10) Freeway will be closed, along with the Olympic/Pico boulevards onramp to the northbound 405 on Cotner Avenue.
