Just to Add to Your Commuting Pleasure, 405 Ramps to Close

Ramps are due to being closing at 7 p.m. and lane closures are due to begin at 10 p.m. Monday and Tuesday between Santa Monica and National boulevards.

Ramps and lanes are scheduled to begin closing Monday night in advance of the first of two overnight closures of the southbound San Diego (405) Freeway in West Los Angeles to accommodate the installation of an overhead sign and ongoing roadway widening, authorities said.

All northbound lanes of the freeway are scheduled to close between Santa Monica and National boulevards from midnight until 5 a.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday, according to Metro.

Ramps are due to being closing at 7 p.m. and lane closures are due to begin at 10 p.m. Monday and Tuesday in advance of the closures, which will allow crews to install a full-span freeway overhead sign and continue roadway widening work at the freeway median, the agency reported.
