Sunday marks the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. Here are some events where you can pay your respects to those who lost their lives that day, American forces currently serving worldwide, local law enforcement and firefighters, and American veterans.

Saturday, Sept. 10

One Light Interfaith Service
The Los Angeles Council of Religious Leaders will host a one-hour tribute to the 10th anniversary of Sept. 11 with dance, music and prayer. The event will be held on the Spring Street steps of City Hall downtown. The music begins at 7:30 p.m. and the program begins at 7:45 p.m.

Sunday, Sept. 11

UCLA Tribute
"America the Beautiful" will be played at 11:50 a.m. Sunday at the Powell Library carillon. Attendees will also observe a moment of silence.

Bikers Helping Veterans Charity Ride
Head over to the Veterans Administration for food, raffles, music and a charity ride benefiting the Veterans Home of California. Several local politicians are expected to attend. The event begins at 10 a.m. and the color guard program is at 1 p.m.
