Winning $25 Million Lotto Ticket Sold in Westwood

The winning ticket was sold at the Mobil station on Santa Monica Boulevard.

Someone got very, very lucky in Westwood yesterday.

A lottery ticket with all six matching numbers in Wednesday's multi-state Mega Millions draw — worth a cool $25 million, or about $18.6 million after taxes — was purchased at the Mobil station on Santa Monica Boulevard and Westwood Boulevard.

The lucky ticket holder can choose between a one-time payment of $18.6 million or 26 annual payments of about $960,000. Not bad.

The winning ticket numbers were 10, 11, 12, 14, 24 and the mega number was 6.

The odds of buying this ticket? Approximately 1 in 175,711,536. Like I said: someone got very, very lucky.
