PHOTOS: 7th Grader Donates $13K to UCLA Program

A 13-year-old donates $13,000 from bar mitzvah gifts and matching funds to UCLA's Operation Mend.

Joshua Neidorf, a 13-year-old from Los Angeles, donated $13,000 from bar mitzvah gifts and matching funds last week to UCLA's Operation Mend program, which provides medical services to wounded military members.

The seventh grader's family volunteers as an Operation Mend Buddy Family and provides social support for patients, according to a UCLA press release.
