Dog Park Opening at Century City Mall

Westfield Century City plans a party and contests for the park's grand opening.

Already known as a dog friendly destination, the Westfield Century City mall is one amenity closer to becoming Fido's best friend.

A new dog park in the mall is opening Saturday with a ribbon cutting ceremony, raffles ("ruff-les"), cupcakes and "pup-cakes," and other giveaways. It's located near the Brooks Brothers store.

The park features a doggie water fountain with dog treats, and the mall plans to install seven of them by the end of the summer.
